A craft of the consciousness – the core of human development
This is what thirty years of painting, research and teaching have taught me. Working from both Goethean philosophy and artistic practice, I have come to understand how perception can be trained and developed — inwardly as well as outwardly, in life as well as on a canvas.
What I find most compelling: this capacity is not reserved for artists or specialists. It is a human faculty. It belongs to everyone willing to practice it.

My work is rooted in a lifelong inquiry into perception: what we actually see, and what’s in us that sees. These paintings are not illustrations of that inquiry — they are the inquiry itself, made visible in light, atmosphere and space.
They are portals, a transformed realisty meant to bring you home to something in yourself. My paintings engage people, which keeps them interesting, even after being thirty years on your wall.
Original works are available in oil on canvas or panel, with or without a handmade frame. Prices range from €300 for a small drawing to €8000 for a large oil painting. Payment in installments is possible. Limited edition prints and jewelry carrying reproductions of my work are also available.

Seeing is a skill – a practice I teach from different angles.
- Seeing Color introduces Goethean color theory through direct experiment and painting exercises, for artists and Waldorf educators alike.
- Painting as a Way of Seeing – perceptual drawing and watercolor as way of learning to navigate reality with your own attention and consciousness.
- Shorter workshops explore color and the human soul, creative mind training, and the nature of reality through physics experiments.

These paintings are made on canvas or panel, with oil paints – made to last, not just as material objects, but also artistically. I have clients who bought a piece 30 years ago and still find it intruiging.

Kunst om te kopen
Mijn oeuvre is herkenbaar, uniek en toch toegankelijk. De schilderijen zijn fijn om mee te leven en ook na decennia blijven ze hun geheim uitstralen.
Om mijn werk breder beschikbaar te maken bied ik prints in gelimiteerde edities. Ook, sieraden met mini-reproducties van mijn werk.
Hoef je niets te kopen maar wil je wel mijn werk ondersteunen? Wees dan van harte welkom in mijn donateurskring, waar we elkaar rond het werk ontmoeten en waarderen.
Lessen en workshops
Schilderen, tekenen, natuurkunde (optica) en menskunde, om je eigen waarnemings- en ervaringsprocessen te verhelderen en erin te leren navigeren. Je leert grip te krijgen op hoe je beelden vormt en hoe je meer ‘echtheid’ kunt ervaren – zowel op je doek, als in jezelf en de omgang met anderen. Het helpt je eigen weg te vinden, in verbinding met de wereld om je heen.
Wil je professioneel kunstenaar worden? Ik help je je eigen werk te creëren, maar ook het bewustzijn daarop te ontwikkelen wat nodig is voor het vak.
Kunst laten maken
Schilderijen en muurschilderingen, gemaakt in co-creatie met jou als opdrachtgever. Het gaat om meer dan een schildering: je hele bedrijf of inrichting wordt verheven tot kunstwerk. Het effect op je klantbeleving en bedrijfsidentiteit is niet te onderschatten: elke uitwisseling, elk gesprek in die ruimte wordt erdoor gevoed. Dit effect is blijvend – want die kwaliteit heeft mijn werk.
De uitvoering kan plaatsvinden buiten je openingstijden. Vantevoren spreken we een vaste prijs af, deze is inclusief materialen en ex. btw/reiskosten.
1 op 1 werken met mij
Je wil geen coach of therapeut, maar je bent avontuurlijk aangelegd en op zoek naar meer zingeving. Ik ben je gids in het innerlijke landschap – jouw vraag is mijn stip op de kaart. Samen zoeken we waar we eigenlijk zijn en wat er nodig is om je vraag beantwoord te zien. Obstakels bekijken we zodat we er omheen kunnen bewegen. Zodra ik je goud zie liggen, zorg ik dat jij het zelf gaat vinden.
Als we gaan praten ga ik ‘aan’. Soms klink ik als een orakel en moet je iets opschrijven om het later te kunnen begrijpen – die ervaring heb ik zelf ook gehad.
